POVERTY: RECRUITING THE ARMY OF CLASS WARFARE

May 11, 2012

by Orlis Trone

Squirrels gather and store nuts, bears catch fish and eat berries, spiders spin webs to trap their food, and plants absorb their sustenance from the soil in which they are rooted.   The point is that every life-possessing entity comes into existence equipped with the means to pursue the survival of the life that each is given.  But the kinship that human beings share with animal and plant life on the matter of survival ends where the method of survival begins.

The distinguishing characteristic that differentiates mankind’s method of survival from every other form of life is that nature requires every other form of life to adjust to its background.  Entities subject to that limitation cannot change their background to improve the viability of their chance for survival.  Humans, however, are possessed of the mental faculty that allows us to adjust our background to ourselves.  Indeed, we have altered our background to accommodate our survival since time immemorial.  The primal genius of attaching a jagged edge stone to the end of a stick was such an adjustment, as was the wheel, capturing electricity, polio vaccine, the heart transplant, and landing Apollo 11... THE SAND OF DENIAL

When our colonial ancestors finally liberated themselves from the absolute power of hereditary tyranny, America set itself apart as an island of freedom in a world that was, as Thomas Paine described it, “overrun with oppression.”  Fast-forward from 1776 to today and note the governments that yet wield the iron-fisted authority of absolute power over the lives of their subject-citizens.   They are many and are as brutal as ever they were.  So, for all practical purposes, America remains an island of freedom in a world still “overrun with oppression.”

The uncivilized rule of government by oppression remains with us because, again and again, the utopians of socialism have paved over “the road to hell” with the pyrite of “good intentions,” and presented it as the golden road to the horn of plenty.  In 1917, comrade Vladimir Lenin translated Karl Marx’ economic theory into real life and created the socialist state of Soviet Russia.  Lenin promised the Russian people that if they invested their every waking hour in toil to bring forth his vision, their sacrifice would be reimbursed with a surplus of food, clothing, shelter and social justice.... NEVER LET A CRISIS GO TO WASTE

By: Orlis Trone

February 3, 2012

January 8, 2012, marked the first anniversary of the death and injury inflicted upon the citizens of Tucson, Arizona, that left six people dead and twelve others seriously wounded. Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords, the most severely injured among the wounded, has retired from her political career to devote more time to the promising start of overcoming her injury. Since the day she was attacked, Mrs. Giffords has waged a resolute battle to recover her health. Her physicians have reported the good news that her determined effort has met with significant progress. This writer wishes Congresswoman Giffords continued success.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to revisit the infamy of Jared Loughner's havoc-wreaking rampage without also revisiting the Democrat's shameless attempt to spin the victim's horrendous misfortune into partisan political gain, by making the murderer out to be a Tea Party/Republican created killer. The Democrats insist that it was the "edginess and lack of...
