Politically, Ann Coulter is one intellectually unambiguous thinker. She says what she means and means what she says. There is nothing maybe about her integrity. Aside from her steadfast adherence to her principles, I admire Ann Coulter for the inflexible courage she brings to bear for her convictions. She does not recoil from any opposing intellect, no matter how aggressive. She does not tolerate fools kindly, no matter their good intentions, and she does not allow any opinion immunity from her right to question the quality of its reasoning.
In “Got Racism,” published Oct. 12, 2012, Ms. Coulter points out that liberals often uncover racism where none exists and none is intended – as, for example, when Mitt Romney mentioned his “five boys” in the first Romney-Obama debate. Harper’s liberal Kevin Baker seized upon the phrasing and declared it to be a circuitous route for Romney to call the President a “boy.” Coulter quotes comments made by liberals that really are racist, such as when Senator Harry Reid sang the praises of Obama for speaking without a “negro dialect,” or, when Vice President Biden, speaking with a negro dialect, yelled out to his black audience that “They gonna put ya’ll back in chains.” What’s not racist about that? What’s not racist about Ted Danson doing himself up in blackface and showing himself off with Whoppi Goldberg?
By now, you have probably heard that, after tweeting her support for the Presidency of Mitt Romney, black actress Stacey Dash was flooded with a torrent of racist filth, flushed upon her from the mouths of liberal racists of all races. It was the obscene vulgarity of the onslaught that provoked the issuance of “Got Racism.” After reading Ann Coulter’s article,” I, too, was provoked. So I am here to add my “two cents” to the subject of racism in America.
The first founding principle of this nation’s birth is that “all men are created equal.” The institution of slavery, however, was the fierce refusal to redeem black American’s claim to that equality. That failure eventually wore down America’s moral tolerance for the ownership of man by man, out of which came the horrific, cataclysmic collision of the Civil War. For four gruesome years, we waded, ankle deep, in the blood of ourselves.
“The Gettysburg Address,” a eulogy memorializing the soldiers involved in that conflagration, was delivered with profound and solemn reverence by President Abraham Lincoln – 1863. While Lincoln counseled that we had no power to add to or detract from the price of the soldier’s sacrifice, he charged us, the future, with the moral obligation to secure the equality they had fought for – and had “so nobly advanced.” Taking Lincoln’s appeal to conscience, we, the future, did further advance the proposition that “all men are created equal.” The outcome of our dedication to that commitment is an observable certainty. Had the status quo of the history between the races been maintained, Barack Obama would not now be President of the United States of America.
But on the way to where we are from where we were in black/white relationships, the demagogues of racial polarization – “race hustlers” – materialized amongst us and, at length, forced themselves between blacks and whites and blacks and blacks.Their objective was, and remains, never to let the present part from the past. Race card players, black and white, do not allow that whites can ever be innocent of racism and they know how to deal “skin in the game” to make it appear that whites are “equality hating extremists.” They know too, that, played “wild,” the race card trumps all “not guilty” pleas to charges of racism as “denial.”
The race card mentality has perverted the most highly prized principle of American justice, the concept of “innocent until proven guilty.” Today, when discrimination is alleged against a white person or a white enterprise, the burden of proof of innocence is put on the shoulder of the accused. This puts the person or business so charged at the insurmountable disadvantage of having to dis-prove the un-proved.
In the world of black racism, the black population is under new ownership – the ownership of such groups as the New Black Panther Party and the Nation of Islam, which constitutes the black monolith, hereinafter referred to as BM. The BM imposes itself as the guardian of a so called black revolution. It seeks to control the association of blacks with non-black Americans and to dictate what they are to think and who they are to respect, love, hate and vote for. “Disobedient blacks” are branded as pariahs and hounded by the BM’s pigment police as brain-drained buffoons. The source of the BM’s political power over disagreeable blacks is given to it by liberal power brokers with “political pull.” It is a gift of color-coded racism.
The “shake-down” extortionists of race, such as Al Sharpton, Jessie Jackson, Geanane Garofalo, Keith Olbermann, Van Jones, Cynthia Tucker, La Raza, Ed Schultz, Leonard Pitts, Jr. – add your own – are addicted to exploiting race. They see a never-ending flow of “reparation money” to be siphoned off there. They will never stop milking the cash cow until they are stopped. And right now is the perfect time to stop them. We owe these hustlers nothing. It is way past due to dehydrate the moolah cow. It is time for us, The Party of Lincoln, to back-bone up and place a stop payment order on the blank check that is the race card.
